Strategic Discovery (Le "Why")
Strategic Discovery (Le "Why")
The usability audit of the existing site revealed a significant UX debt. The business objective was to transform a "showcase" site into a real conversion lever.
Initial hypothesis: the complexity of the tree structure generates a high bounce rate on mobile devices.
User insight: Customers want complete transparency about origin and seasonality before adding items to their cart.

Concept & Trade-offs (The "How")
Concept & Trade-offs (The "How")
Instead of simply "revamping" the interface, I redesigned the information hierarchy according to the Jobs-to-be-Done framework: "I want to order my weekly groceries in less than 2 minutes during my commute."
Simplified workflow: Fewer clicks to access the product catalog.
Mobile-First Approach: Designing a responsive interface optimized for touch interactions, reducing cognitive load when selecting baskets.

Delivery & Systematization
Delivery & Systematization
To ensure scalability and consistency of the interface, I implemented a logic of reusable components.
Design System: Creation of a component library (buttons, product cards, quantity selectors) to ensure a clean handoff.
Technical performance: Focus on optimizing assets to reduce loading time, a critical factor for e-commerce retention.

Retrospective & Impact (Outcomes)
Retrospective & Impact (Outcomes)
Success: Delivery of a unified platform, enhancing the company's visibility and the perception of "premium quality" products.
Next step (Iteration): Set up conversion tracking (Funnel Analysis) to validate the impact of the new navigation on the average basket size.
Takeaway: This project confirmed that visual clarity is inseparable from technical performance in generating user confidence.
